AcroSoft supports Microsoft’s Insurance Value Chain Architecture Framework (IVCAF) v1.0

Columbia, SC May 18, 2006

AcroSoft is pleased to announce its support for Microsoft's Insurance Value Chain Architecture Framework (IVCAF) v1.0.

The Microsoft® Insurance Value Chain Architecture Framework (IVCAF) v1.0, which will be demonstrated live at the ACORD/LOMA Insurance Forum in Las Vegas this month, is an industry-standards-based approach delivering a library of integrations and prescriptive guidance on the development of straight-through processing, enabling workflow across multiple insurance applications.

“We are pleased to have AcroSoft in Microsoft’s IVC partner program and look forward to working with the company in developing new workflows to address the issue of straight-through processing in the insurance industry,” said Kevin Kelly, managing director, Microsoft U.S. insurance industry. “AcroSoft has a history of providing innovative solutions to the insurance industry. With the company’s dedication to .NET and web services, we recognize the benefit of having the company in our IVC program.”

AcroSoft's inclusion in the Microsoft IVC partner program recognizes its solutions as best-of-breed, flexible, progressive and part of a new standard created in insurance. "Our initial experiences with SOA, .NET and the IVC have been extremely positive. With minimal effort, we have been able to link with other IVC partners to provide business value. It demonstrates the power of pre-integration that Microsoft provides through the program. This will prove to be a great long-term benefit for the industry,” says Paul Butare, AcroSoft CEO.

For AcroSoft's perspective clients, the company’s support for the IVCAF reaffirms its leading place in the market, its progressive technology, and the ease of integration with other applications. For the company’s existing clients, it shows that AcroSoft's investments in .NET and web services are coming to fruition to help its clients even more with improving their business processes.

The recognition and inclusion in Microsoft's IVC demonstrates that AcroSoft has moved beyond the world of "imaging" and will become an important player in Microsoft's IVCAF v1.0. Along with its technology, AcroSoft is recognized for the strength of its team, the experience of its staff, and the vision and innovation of its solutions and leadership.
